  • 4 dashes warm pepper sauce (along with Tabasco®), or to taste
  • 2 egg yolks
  • half lemon, juiced
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-length portions
  • 1/4 cup actual bacon bits, or to taste
  • 1 (5 ounce) bundle croutons, or as wanted
  • 4 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste

Instructions :

  • Place garlic and salt in a wood salad bowl; mash together with a fork until creamy. Mash capers into garlic paste. Mash anchovy paste into garlic combination till creamy.
  • Whisk olive oil and black pepper into garlic mixture with a fork till well combined; stir in Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, mustard, and hot pepper sauce. Whisk egg yolks into aggregate; whisk in lemon juice. Place romaine into the salad bowl and toss with dressing.
  • Sprinkle salad with bacon bits, croutons, and Parmesan cheese.

Notes :

  • Use 2 heads of romaine lettuce if you like your salad much less saucy.
